It's a Boy!!!!!

Benjamin Stuart was born on Tuesday, February 19th at 8:36pm. He weighed in at 8lbs. 2oz. Mommy and Daddy were in labor for 23 hours, and starting pushing the last three. It was a lot of work, but so worth it. We just can't keep our hands off of him. He is feeding good, and getting plenty of sleep. Most importantly, he loves his Mommy and Daddy. Enjoy!

Ice Storm 2008 - February 11th

We were hit with a terrible ice storm Monday morning with 26 hours of continous freezing rain. Around 1:30 Tuesday morning, we were without power. Close to 10,000 households were without power in our area alone. 2 1/2 days later..... POWER! I have never been so happy to have heat, a warm shower, and light! It is amazing what we take for granted. I took some pictures of the ice from our back door.

Due date drawing near!

John and I went to the doctor on Wednesday. I am still only dilated at a 3, but the baby has dropped some. My due date is Saturday, February 16th. If baby Broeckling doesn't come on his or her own by next Wednesday, February 20th, our doctor will induce us on Thursday, February 21st. We will keep you posted!
