Road Trip! July 25, 2008

Hello Everyone. First off, I wanted to keep all of you updated on my veggies. I started out with squash for four days, and now I have been eating carrots. Boy, are they delicous! Mommy tells me I'm going to try peas next. Hopefully they will be as yummy as the first two veggies!
Mommy took me on my first long road trip to visit family and friends in Kentucky. Our first stop was at Aunt Ashley and Uncle Arty's house. Then we headed to my Great Aunt Becky and Uncle Paul's house, and then onto Lexington, Kentucky to visit some of Mommy's childhood friends. I got to meet one of Mommy's friend's baby. Here name is Murphy, and she is a cutie. I tried to hold her hand, but she doesn't have time for boys right now. Mommy said I was a great traveler. She was nice enough to take a couple of pit stops for me to stretch out and eat. We had soooo much fun. I'm already looking forward to our next road trip!

Look Out! July 20, 2008

Hello Everyone. I hit another milestone over the weekend by having my first baby food this weekend!! Mommy and Daddy gave me squash, and I loved it. I did pretty good with the whole concept of having a spoon in my mouth. Mommy and Daddy kept taking lots of pictures, and even got me on video too! I will continue eating squash for the next few days, and then peas will be next. If only I could get Daddy to try squash. Boy, he doesn't know what he is missing. Love you all.

Time to Excercise! July 19, 2008

Hello Everyone. I had my second round of shots on this week. I had to get five more shots, and Mommy said I did a really good job. She said that I didn't get as upset this time as I did the first time. It still hurt though. The doctor said that I am doing great! I now weigh 18 pounds, and 4 ounces. I am in the 95% of my weight and length. The doctor also told Mommy that she can start feeding me baby food!! That sounds exciting. I'll keep you posted on how that goes, so stay tuned.
Mommy was so nice, and went out to buy me an excersaucer to help me keep my mind off of the pain from my shots. I just love my excersaucer! Thank you so much, Mommy. Mommy, Daddy, and I went to St. Louis over the weekend. Mommy and Daddy went to the Cardinal Baseball game Friday night with some very good friends, Whitney and Ryan Tate. Daddy tells me it was a great game. The Cards won 9-7!! I stayed at Mommy and Daddy's friends' house, Heather. This was the first time Mommy and Daddy have been away from me overnight. It was good that they had an opportunity to have some time together without me for a change. I was on my best behavior, and didn't give Heather any problems. I miss all of you very much.

Happy 4th of July - 2008

Hello Everyone. I hope all of you had a delightful 4th of July!! Mommy and Daddy took me to Gramma and Grampa's Farm over the holiday weekend! It worked out really well because the holiday fell on a Friday, so Mommy and Daddy had an extra day to play with me and visit with family. We had such a fun and relaxing time. I even got to see a couple of fireworks, but couldn't stay up for all of them. I got really sleepy. I also got to see the cows, and enjoyed overlooking the pond while sitting on the front porch. Did you see how cute Grampa's shirt is?! One of his friends gave that to him. I need to look into getting one for each of my family members. Enjoy the pictures. Love you all.
