Last minute touches!

Brock the Builder!

John has been working hard for the last couple of months trying to get the rest of our basement finished out before the baby arrives. He has done everything from putting up 2x4's, hanging up insulation, and even installing the lighting. He is getting ready to start building around all the duct work and around the water heater. I'm so proud of him, and he is having such a good time doing it. Keep up the good work, My Love!

Special Delivery!

Saturday morning... a knock at the door. It's FedEx dropping off Baby Broeckling's dresser!! You would have thought it was Christmas all over again in our household. We were the most excited parents around! Daddy and I spent most of the morning putting it together, and it looks so pretty in the nursery.

My sister, Ashley, and her husband ,Art, came to visit John and me over the weekend. We had such a good time. We celebrated Art's Birthday, which was Saturday, January 12th. We decided to celebrate mine too, which falls on January 26th. While they were visiting, we went to our local gym to get in a good workout before consuming birthday cake...lol. Ashley brought balloons with her, and I woke up early Saturday morning to hang them from the celing fan and chandelier before anyone else woke up. Ashley brought a wonderful chocolate cake that she decorated as a pirate scene.
We also were fortunate enough to have John cook up his world-famous chili Sunday night to wrap up a wonderful weekend!! Thank you guys for coming to visit us!

Work Baby Shower - January 18, 2008

My co-workers are so thoughtful, and gave Julie and me a baby shower. Thank you sales team for doing this for us. I have enjoyed working with all of you so much, and appreciate all of your support and encouragement. I can't wait for you to meet baby Broeckling very soon!
