Emma Kate's First Visit with La La January 22, 2011

Hello Everyone. Emma Kate finally got to meet her La La for the first time! La La just melted when she saw her! La La stayed with us for five days, and I begged her to stay with us and not return to Colorado. She played with me a lot, and even watched us a couple of nights while Mommy and Daddy got to go out for a little bit.
She got me some really cool toys too!! I am already looking forward to her next visit. La La, please make it sooner rather than later!! Emma Kate and I love you very much.

Lackey Christmas January 15, 2011

Hello Everyone. I had the chance to celebrate Christmas with Mommy's side of the family over the weekend. It was so nice for everyone to come in to visit. We had the chance to catch up and play a few board games and cards. Uncle Stuart and Aunt Jennifer got me a really cool Buzz Light Year laptop, and my Aunt Ashley and Uncle Art got me a back pack filled with little knights and other cool toys. GG gave me money, which I am saving for my college fund. :) Emma Kate also got some cute clothes and money too. Thank you guys for all the special gifts as always!

Emma's first trip to Kentucky! January 10, 2011

Hello Everyone. Emma Kate took her very first road trip to Kentucky at only six weeks of age! They had the chance to visit with friends and family. Emma Kate got to meet her Great Grandmother, and she was able to visit with Faye Faye while she was home. Everyone was so excited to see and hold Emma Kate, especially Aunt Ashley! Mommy also got to see her very best friend from grade school, Miss Elizabeth, along with Jessica and Olivia who are also very close grade school friends. We are looking forward to our next visit to Kentucky!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hello Everyone. Hope all of you had a lovely Christmas and a nice start to the new year, 2011! Emma Kate is growing so fast, and she has been such a good baby. I love coming home from school and giving her a big hug and kiss. Mommy is very pleased at how well I am adjusting to having her in our lives. Daddy says his life has changed a lot! No more coming home from work and watching ballgames...lol. He now is busy getting my dinner ready, giving me my bath, playing with me for a little bit, and tucking me into bed. Mommy helps out too, of course. Thank you all for the awesome Christmas presents! I have been enjoying playing with them everyday when I get home from school. Enjoy the photos!
